***** “Helene and Frank originally came to sit with our Bengal cat for a week. Unfortunately, my 17-year-old, blind and deaf Bichon mix dog, was very unhappy staying with my son and his family. That’s where he has always gone on past holidays. This time, with his advanced age, he didn’t know where he was. I asked Helene and Frank if they’d mind terribly if I had him sent home. They were so incredibly sweet and accommodating, and took him in. Then, because he had stopped eating, Helene was making him home made broth and cut up tiny bits of chicken. I could not believe how fortunate we were to have had them babysit the pets. They wrote often, telling us how Pickles was doing. The house was immaculate when we arrived home, and Helene called in the following days to see how he was doing. I would rate them a perfect 5 in every way. Thank you, you two. So very much.”

***** “What a wonderful sitter Helene is. She and Frank took on my 2 month gig at very short notice – just a couple of days before I was scheduled to leave. I was in a state because the sitter that I had . booked well in advance was obliged to cancel and I did not know where I would find someone to. look after my large brood of 5 cats and 2 large dogs. She took on the project with enthusiasm and was a godsend no less. The pets loved her, she was extremely responsible and reliable and cared for them with method, consistency and love. She also kept my apartment very clean. She communicated on a regular basis to discuss issues that came up. She was able to go to the vet with one when necessary and met emergencies and unforeseen situations with calm practicality and compassion. She also left the apartment really clean and tidy and helped out with little repairs and issues around the house. I can’t recommend her more highly. Thank you for everything Helene.”

They’re warm and friendly people and after receiving several of their detailed and newsy emails, we began to think of them as friends or extended family. They were also willing to go out of their way to adjust their schedule a little to make sure there were no gaps in Kaju’s care between our departures and arrivals and theirs. Helene sent us the best photos we’ve seen of our cats along with reports on their well-being. The cats were noticeably happy and well-cared for. Helene and Frank also coped magnificently with a minor flood in the apartment resulting from Toronto’s unseasonable ice-storm, only telling us later so as not to worry us. ***** “We highly recommend Helene and Frank as house and animal sitters. They are both animal lovers and took great care of our fur babies. We have two little dogs, Shi-poo, Bella (10 lbs) and a little Chihuahua 8.5lbs Tamale, a guinea pig Lilly, and our  outdoor/indoor rabbit Tom. All the animals were cared for, during our two weeks absent, with great passion and no extra care was too much for them to handle. All our animals have ‘something’ special during the day, Helene and Frank adapted to the needs of the Animals and made them comfortable and relaxed while we were not here. Since we run a business (which was closed during our absence) Helene picked up on phone calls, listened to messages and informed us about inquiries. We were able to stay in contact daily and they sent us pictures of how they are doing and how our critters were doing. This gave us a much relaxed vacation time. The house was clean and tidy, all cages cleaned and water bottles filled when we came home. Helene and Frank stayed one more day to make sure that we had time to settle back in. We will have Helene and Frank back anytime, so now we are actually looking forward to hopefully ‘more’ vacation time.
